How we work

How we work

Strategic planning
The executive team conduct a yearly SWOT and SOAR analysis, set short term, mid-range and long-term goals and objectives; schedule timelines; estimate budgets and determine responsibilities; connect planning efforts with ongoing operations and measure progress.

Valuing Field Teams' Knowledge

Field teams' members are very much in tune with the local communities in which we operate; they participate in community events and reach out to people living around them. Their belonging to the community’s social fabric enables accurate needs and risks assessment, and enhance the application of do no harm principles.

Ongoing Capacity Building
Through ongoing human resources capacity building, ALPHA's team is continuously trying to anticipate needs and challenges. Executive staff members are specially bound to follow professional developments in their domain of activities and maintain excellent technical standards; use their professional expertise constructively for the benefit of ALPHA.

Accountability
Our mode of operation lies heavily in our sense of accountability. That accountability exists within ALPHA in a twofold manner; the accountability we have toward our beneficiaries, while remaining accountable to our donors in accordance with international donor standards and criteria.
