Heritage Day in Tibnin, South Lebanon
UNIFIL attaches great importance to relations with the local population among whom the peacekeepers operate. Since 2014, ALPHA and UNIFIL are joining efforts to enable a yearly community event in Tibnin which recognizes and celebrates community’s culinary heritages as an important component of the culture. ALPHA stand offered a variety of Lebanese food; sharing meals makes bridging cultural divides simpler.
